Palau Guell

On January 24, 2014, students got to attend class at Antoni Gaudi's Palau Guell.  The morning started of with some sketching outdoors-section cuts through the streets and the analyses of building proportions.  It was by no means a warm morning, but the gorgeous scenery seemed to make up for that.  The first thing one would notice about the building is all of the magnificent twisted iron. Back in the day every single piece of that iron was twisted by hand. Imagine that.
